MENTAL PREPARATION FOR SPORTS

Who am I?
For me, sports go far beyond a physical activity; they are a way of life, a true school of life. From a young age, I have always been active and eager to explore different disciplines: climbing, gymnastics, horseback riding, tennis, handball, judo, swimming, rowing, kayaking, and many more.
At six years old, by chance, I discovered fencing, specifically sabre fencing. It was a revelation—I quickly showed skill in this sport, which is both elegant and physically and mentally demanding. From the beginning, I was driven by a deep aversion to losing, where only victory mattered.
For nearly ten years, this passion led me to win several titles and achieve an excellent national ranking.

MY JOURNEY
In my late teens, I felt the need for change and decided to leave fencing to pursue another sport: basketball. The team spirit immediately appealed to me, and it was in this environment that I met my closest friends, who remain so today. Together, we shared victories and defeats, but our dedication to training and playing was always complete, whether in competition or on neighborhood courts.
While studying engineering and beginning my professional career, sports continued to play a central role in my life. I discovered CrossFit, a demanding sport that requires a variety of physical and mental abilities. After obtaining my CrossFit Level 1 certification, I began coaching alongside my primary career. The competitive aspect, performance, and personal growth resonated deeply with me.

THE UPGRADE
Wanting to go even further, I pursued training in mental coaching, convinced of its importance in athlete development.
Today, I offer my services through The Upgrade, as strengthening one’s mental resilience enables athletes to reach a higher level in their discipline and in life.
